How much does great painting cost? – Video #4
For the fourth in a series of light online training videos, we’ll talk about how homeowners and apartment dwellers can estimate the price of an average painting and redecoration job.
“So here’s the question that usually comes up as one of the top 3,” says Yoni Borojevic, Diamond Touch’s president for over 20 years in the GTA. “Especially when customers realize how much time and care we put into their painting project, they wonder if we’re priced right out of their budget And most of the time, they’re happily surprised to find out that we’re not!”
The new video describes a common room redecoration task, with a price range to fit. Of course, each job is different — but for most of them, you’d be pretty safe to use this as a guide.
“One good way to lower the price of redecorating,” shares Borojevic, “is to plan and paint several rooms at the same time. For example, doing two bedrooms, the hallway and stairwell transforms an entire floor of many homes. And by sharing the costs that are common to all, you can end up with bulk pricing on some materials and labour that reduces your per-room costs considerably.”
Plus, you end up with more of your home looking bright, fresh and professionally finished!
